Worldline and BSH Home Appliances Group (BSH) shore up Home Connect with new functionalities based on an expanded range of connected home appliances
Paris and Berlin, 4 September 2015 – At the global trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances (IFA) and in partnership with BSH Home Appliances Group (BSH), Worldline [Euronext: WLN], European market leader in payment and transactional services, unveils new remotely-controlled connected home appliances.
Backed by BSH’s latest Home Connect solution, consumers now have a number of new possibilities at their finger tips, including switching on their ovens and dishwashers outside their home, viewing the contents of their fridge via an inside camera and receiving advice on the best washing machine program to launch.
These innovations, which testify to Worldline’s ongoing commitment to boost consumer lifestyle with smart applications such as drinking coffee prepared according to individual tastes on a connected coffee machine, will be launched at the Berlin 2015 IFA trade show.
Olivier Stuckens, Worldline Mobility & e‐transactional Services Director, said: “Having teamed up with BSH to create and design this connected home appliances solution, we are proud to roll out in Europe and worldwide new product ranges, services and innovative apps including viewing the contents of your fridge from your local supermarket, while securely facilitating the daily life of consumers both at home and on the road.”
