Worldline publishes its Corporate Social Responsibility report
For the second year in a row, Worldline has published its CSR report in accordance with the G4 "Comprehensive" option that is most stringent level of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) reference guidelines
Bezons, 07 June 2016 – Worldline [Euronext: WLN], the European leader in the payment and transactional services industry, has just published its 2015 Corporate Social Responsibility Report, in accordance with the G4 "Comprehensive" option guidelines of the GRI. This is the most recent and stringent reference from the GRI regarding the scope of application and transparency. It therefore demonstrates the commitment of Worldline's management to communicate all information related to its extra-financial performance.
A year after the publication of its first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report in accordance with the G4 ¨comprehensive¨ option guidelines from the GRI*, Worldline testifies to a strong commitment on sustainability matters, which underlines the high performance level of its CSR strategy and approach. During 2015, the company has reinforced its initiatives on topics related to diversity, data protection, security, compliance, risk management and the environment. This involvement enabled Worldline to achieve the following certifications and results in 2015:
The "Silver" level recognition by EcoVadis on the assessment of its responsible supply chain.
The ISO 14001 certification, obtained for all its data-centers and offices over 500 employees.
A general rating of 81% on the GAIA Index, demonstrating a high level of CSR performance and transparency, positioning Worldline among the TOP 20 best service industries.
Worldline has been widely rewarded for its performance in CSR-related matters, being one of the few French companies on the market to have obtained such levels of certification and results. According to the standards and reference indices, the company presented outstanding results, thereby allowing it to provide high-quality responsible services.
Gilles Grapinet, Worldline CEO stated: “We are pleased to have received the highest level of certification from the Global Reporting Initiative for the second year in a row and, therefore, confirming, in line with the several different first rate rewards and certifications obtained in 2015, that our Group, Worldline, is genuinely at the forefront of socially responsible and sustainable management of all of its activities, which is our overarching goal. As a leading European payment and electronic transactions processor, our long-term CSR approach is deeply embedded in our DNA. This is why, to go further, we have defined our 2020 CSR ambition: TRUST 2020. Concrete and guided by measurable results, this new ambition for progress illustrates, through a set of KPIs, all the major challenges linked to our CSR strategy.”
