Worldline will be at the 2017 NRF Retail’s Big Show
Bezons, 13 January 2017 – Worldline [Euronext : WLN], European leader in the payments and transactional services sector, will reinvent the consumer experience at the NRF (National Retail Federation) Retail’s Big Show from 15th till 17th January 2017.
In partnership with Atos, Dassault Systèmes and SES-imagotag, Worldline will showcase its latest innovations, from 15th till 17th January 2017, at the NRF Retail’s Big Show in New York, retail’s staple global event.
Digital Transformation has drastically altered consumers’ needs and expectations. It is in this particular context that Worldline helps retailers by innovating and reinventing the buying experience of the customers. Worldline will thus present its WL Connected Store at the NRF, a solution that enables retailers to offer a fully digital customer path at the point-of-sale, from catalog browsing to filling their basket and paying for purchases. The new payment terminal VALINA, designed by Worldline, will also be one of the solutions showcased at the event. VALINA is the first Android payment terminal for vending machines. It is natively compatible with all types of ticket-based vending machines currently on the market and can offer new value-added services tied to loyalty programs and coupons.
Lastly, Worldline will also present one of its latest innovations: the Donation Box. This new solution combines a connected box and the contactless payment terminal YONEO. Not only can it enable simple donations, it also enables real-time online tracking of donations. This solution, launched in the offices of Worldline France last December during the Téléthon as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, was a great success. At the Retail Big Show, Worldline will this time back BIG against breast cancer, a global non-profit association who is actively involved in breast cancer research and, more particularly its global clinical study “Big time for baby”, which aims to evaluate the relapse risks linked to stopping therapy for up to 2 years for women, suffering from hormone-sensitive breast cancer, who want to pursue their pregnancy dreams. Event attendees will be able, if they wish, to make a micro donation of 3 dollars with their contactless card and their smartphone, which is the equivalent of one patient’s daily costs of participating in this clinical study.
