Executive Committee

At Worldline, we believe in excellence across all business channels. The Executive Committee was developed to implement and advise on Worldline’s overall strategy and business projects for the benefit of its clients, shareholders, and employees. It is also charged with improving interaction and cooperation among the Group's three Global Business Lines and international business markets.

The composition of the Group's Executive Committee is as follows:

Gilles Grapinet

Chief Executive Officer

Gilles Grapinet has been Chief Executive Officer of Worldline since July 2013. Soon after taking the helm, he steered the company through a successful IPO in 2014 leading to Worldline’s listing as a public company on the French stock market. Since 2013, Worldline has doubled in size, geographical reach and revenues. A passionate advocate of corporate social responsibility, Mr Grapinet introduced the TRUST2020 program in 2016 – an ambitious roadmap that ensures that trust is at the heart of all Worldline’s relationships.
A graduate of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration and a former French Inspecteur Général des Finances, Mr Grapinet held key Director-level positions in the French government before joining Atos in December 2008 where he became Senior Executive Vice President in charge of Global Functions for the Atos group. As from February 2019, he has devoted his time entirely to his role as CEO of Worldline which became an independent pure player in digital payment services on May 1, 2019. Mr Grapinet was awarded the Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur in 2011.


Marc-Henri Desportes

Deputy CEO

Marc-Henri Desportes is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole des Mines de Paris. He was Deputy Program Director of the Copernic program at the French Ministry of Finance from 2000 to 2005. The next year, Mr. Desportes took charge of audit coordination at BNP Paribas. He then became Chief Information Officer at BNL, the Italian subsidiary of BNP Paribas. He joined the Atos Group in 2009 as Director of the Global Innovation and Business Strategy (GIBS), becoming Director of the High Technology Settlement Services and Specialized Activities business unit in July 2011. Mr. Desportes became a member of the Executive Committee of Atos SE and, in July 2013, Senior Executive Vice President of Worldline and Deputy CEO in 2018.


Christophe Duquenne

Chief Technology & Operations Officer  

Christophe Duquenne is a graduate of the Ecole Centrale in Paris. He joined Atos in 1987 and has held numerous managerial positions there. After directing the Group’s French activities for six years, he joined the global management team in July 2011. Mr. Duquenne is a member of the Executive Committee of Atos SE and was appointed CTO of Worldline in July 2013. He was also responsible for Worldline’s Merchant Services Global Business Line, before being appointed as the Group’s Chief Operations Officer in 2016, in addition to his role as Chief Technical Officer.


Olivier Burger

Head of Human Resources

Olivier Burger is a graduate of SUPMECA and the Ecole Normale Supérieure. He started his career in France at Renault in software development. After two years spent in Canada for the French Foreign affairs, he joined Alstom in the train division where he headed several managerial positions in the field of fail-safe control systems in France and in the United Kingdom. In 2004, he joined Areva to lead various Human Resources managerial positions of several Global Business Units and then in charge of Talent Management for the Group. Olivier joined Atos in 2016 as Human Resources Senior Vice President of the Big Data & Security Division. He was also in charge of the WellBeing@Work and the Expert policy at Group level at Atos before joining Worldline in 2018 as Head of Human Resources.


Eric Heurtaux

Chief Financial Officer

Eric Heurteaux is a graduate from Ecole des Mines de Paris and holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD. He began his career at the Boston Consulting Group. For more than 12 years within the Atos Group, he held several positions, including being a key driver of the Group TOP program, enhancing Atos’ operational performance and conducting the integration of acquired companies in Atos, in particular the Bull Group. Eric was previously Chief Financial Officer of Atos Big Data & Security (BDS) division, a 650+ million € global business, where he was responsible for strategic and financial planning, financial controlling and reporting, internal control, tax & corporate development. As Worldline’s Chief Financial Officer, he oversees the company's finance and accounting organizations and is also in charge of the TEAM efficiency program alongside the IT and purchasing departments.


Michael Steinbach

Managing Director for Financial Services and CEO equensWorldline

Michael Steinbach began his career in payments at the GZB-Bank in Stuttgart, where he rose to become Head of Electronic Payments in 1985. Since then, he has headed increasingly large and complex payment divisions formed by mergers in the German banking world, becoming a Director of Germany’s DZ BANK AG in 2003, where he headed the Payments department. He has been the spokesman of the Board of Directors of the Transaktionsinstitut für Zahlungsverkehrsdienstleistungen AG since July 2003. Becoming Deputy Chairman of Equens in 2006, Michael Steinbach went on to become Chairman and, in January 2012, CEO of Equens. Mr. Steinbach is a member of many national and international payment committees, holds a seat on the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank Nederland NV, and is Chairman of the International Payments Framework Association (IPFA). He became CEO of equensWorldline in 2016.


Vincent Roland

Managing Director for Merchant Services

Vincent Roland studied electrical and electronic engineering and holds multiple degrees, including an MBA. He has attended several schools in Europe, such as the University of Leuven (Belgium), Solvay Business School (Belgium), the London School of Economics and the IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. As Head of the Merchant Services Global Business Line, Mr. Roland is responsible for leading Worldline’s Merchant Services Global Business Line in its goal to become the market leader in Europe. With more than 18 years of experience in the payment industry, Vincent Roland served recently as Senior Vice President of Payment Services for Verifone. Before joining Verifone, he served as the Senior Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at First Data. Prior to this role, he was the CEO at Banksys prior to their acquisition by Atos Worldline. Mr. Roland began his career with Alcatel, where he held roles of increasing responsibility, including senior management roles and Vice President of microelectronics.


Olivier Stuckens

Managing Director for Mobility & e-Transactional Services

Olivier Stuckens is a graduate of the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble and the University of Huddersfield in England. He joined the Atos Group in 1992 and until 2005, performed various managerial roles in the areas of media and banking/finance. From 1999, his duties related to transactional services platforms for large international accounts. He then contributed to the development of Atos Worldline’s Health sector business, creating and managing the Santeos consortium GIE. In 2006, Olivier Stuckens became Director of the Telecom, Utilities and Media business unit in France before being appointed Head of Worldline’s Mobility & e-Transactional Services Global Business Line in 2013.


Pascal Mauzé

Head of Sales and Marketing

Pascal started his career in 1994 as a network consultant, and in 1999, became a BU Manager for Admiral (later LogicaCMG, now CGI). After training in international management at HEC, he first joined Cisco, before joining the Telecom division of Atos SI, in 2006. At the end of 2012, he was asked to lead the Atos Group's growth and industrialization program under the supervision of Gilles Grapinet and then Patrick Adiba. In July 2015, he was recruited by Accenture to develop Energy & Utilities sales for France and Benelux. He was appointed Worldline’s Head of Sales and Marketing in 2017.


Charles-Henri de Taffin

Head of Legal, Compliance and Contract Management

Charles-Henri spent 9 years in the international law firm, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where he specialized in both domestic and international corporate transactions and also acquired extensive experience in dispute resolution. Charles-Henri received a Postgraduate Degree (D.E.A.) in business law from the University of Paris X –Nanterre and a Postgraduate Degree (D.E.S.S.) in litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution from the University of Paris II – Panthéon Assas.


Lisa Coleman

Managing Director for the Regional Business Unit UK and for MTS Germany & CEE

Lisa Coleman joined the Atos Group in 1992, performing various managerial roles in the UK public sector that included personal delivery of major Government Programs. She also took overall responsibility for business development and growth in the UK Health sector. Since joining Worldline in 2014, Lisa has assumed responsibility for all activities within the UK and Ireland, which include significant contracts in the transport and hospitality market. In addition, since 2017, her scope includes the Group’s Mobility & e-Transactional Services business in Germany and Austria.


Wolf Kunisch

Chief Business Division Officer for Financial Services and Chief Operating Officer at equensWorldline

Wolf Kunisch is a graduate of the Technische Universität Berlin and of the MBA program of INSEAD. He began his career as a project manager at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Stuttgart, Germany and in Paris. Joining the Atos Group in 2000, he performed management functions in innovative and international business development. Mr. Kunisch became both COO and Deputy CEO for equensWorldline in 2016.


Alessandro Baroni

Chief Market Officer of equensWorldline

Alessandro Baroni started his career in strategy consulting, first at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and then at Boston Consulting Group, focusing on Financial Services as well as Consumer Goods & Retail assignments in Europe and US & Canada, developing his expertise in M&A, corporate development and sales/marketing. He joined Equens in 2008 as CEO of Equens Italy and was nominated to the Equens Board of Directors in 2011. Since then he has held mandates as Head of Cards, Chief Information Officer and - as of 2014 - Chief Market Officer. Mr. Baroni became Chief Market Officer of equensWorldline in 2016. In his role, he is responsible for Sales, Marketing and Client Delivery Management across all equensWorldline geographies. Mr. Baroni is a graduate from Bocconi University in Milan.


Claude France

Managing Director for the Regional Business Unit France (excluding equensWorldline) and for MTS Benelux & Nordics

Claude France is a graduate from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble. She started her career in the telecom sector at Alcatel and joined the Atos Group in 1988 where she held various operational and commercial positions. After having managed the French Financial Processing and Software Licensing business upon the creation of Worldline in 2004, she became the Director for the strategy, the marketing and the business development of the Worldline Group. Since July 2011, she manages the business of the Worldline Group in France.


Marc Schluep

Managing Director for the Regional Business Unit, Switzerland

Marc Schluep is the Managing Director of the Regional Business unit DACH. Previously he was the CEO of SIX Payment Services after having been Head Corporate Development with responsibility for strategic development at SIX Group. He held the same position at SWX Group from 2004. Mr Schluep's professional career began at Arthur D. Little, an international management consultancy, before he cofounded a strategic consultancy company in which he acted as partner. Marc Schluep studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen and Stockholm School of Economics.
