Would you like to offer your customers a modern payment option with more flexibility? You can now do this with the new TWINT "Pay later" function. At the check-out, users choose whether they want to pay immediately or within 30 days.*

How does TWINT "Pay later" work?
As a merchant, you sign a TWINT "Pay later" contract with an agreed surcharge and are then activated for TWINT "Pay later". If the TWINT "Pay later" function is activated, this is automatically displayed to the user in the checkout. You do not need to make any changes to your webshop. At the check-out, your customers select TWINT as a payment method as usual and then decide in the app whether they want to pay immediately or later. The fees are charged to you as a merchant and there is no charge for your customers.
Why should you offer TWINT "Pay later"?
According to the 2024 online retailer survey, "buy now, pay later" solutions are on the rise. This is because purchasing on account is one of the preferred payment methods in e-commerce and is indispensable for many consumers. More than 70% of online retailers in Switzerland offer this payment option.

All TWINT users are offered the "Pay later" option in the app. The prerequisite for this is that they are of legal age and resident in Switzerland. Further conditions may be specified by the respective issuers of the TWINT app.

Remuneration by Worldline remains unchanged and is based on the terms of the existing acceptance agreement.

The upper limit may vary and is a maximum of CHF 1,000 for individual transactions and CHF 5,000 per year. When paying for purchases made via the TWINT "Pay later" function, the usual limits of the respective TWINT app also apply. These may vary depending on the version - TWINT Prepaid or different issuing banks. As a rule, the lower limit is CHF 10. However, this may vary.
