Employee-driven projects

Fostering employee engagement through Share&Care and Collective Solidarity actions.

Around the world, Worldliners are involved in a wide range of effective, and in many cases remarkable, philanthropic activities. These are often organised by Worldline country offices. They rely on the generosity, energy and hard work of countless numbers of individual Worldliners.

Through the Share&Care campaigns, the Worldline Corporate Foundation complements the activities of our local teams in Europe in a more structured way, providing a framework that allows Worldliners to play an active role in monitoring submitted projects.

Our Collective Solidarity actions count on the same passion and engagement of Worldliners, but on a worldwide scale, and through site-based actions centred around education and environment. For these projects, the foundation provides an amount that is allocated to various associations based on employee votes.

The foundation's goal is not only to fund non-profit projects of general interest but also to engage Worldliners, enabling them to come together and take action for the greater good.

Share&Care: annual campaigns to fund associations proposed by employees in Europe

Following annual recruitment calls, Worldliners in the European Union can submit local projects in the areas of education and environment for Worldline Corporate Foundation support. If an association or specific project is selected,  it receives a little boost and is sponsored by the Worldline employee who submitted it. They will be a link between the foundation and the association, monitoring its progress.

The Share&Care programme values the personal commitment of Worldliners by giving them an active role in the project of their choice.

Collective Solidarity: taking action together at Worldline sites worldwide

Our Collective Solidarity actions are site-based initiatives that are held annually at Worldline sites all around the world, such as – for instance – a global cleanup day.

The foundation proposes and partially funds these collective actions, inviting Worldliners to work together with NGO’s around large-scale environmental and educational activities. The goal is to make a tangible impact by taking action, voting to decide how the amount donated by the Foundation is allocated, and also raising awareness among Worldline colleagues.

Onboarding new joiners

The Worldline Corporate Foundation has introduced a new way to onboard new employees: giving them an opportunity to get involved in philanthropy from day one. Each new hire (with a permanent contract) is invited to choose a cause that matters to them and vote for it in a list. The foundation will contribute to this cause by using the DIFT platform.

This initiative is not only a meaningful way to engage newcomers but also showcases the foundation's commitment to supporting impactful projects. It encourages new employees to reflect on what inspires them — whether it's forests, oceans, or youth engagement — and to actively participate in creating positive change from the very start of their journey with us.
