Tap to Pay on iPhone allows entrepreneurs and companies of all sizes in Switzerland to accept all forms of contactless payments, including contactless credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets, using only an iPhone and the Worldline Tap on Mobile app - no additional hardware or payment terminal needed.

Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone technology uses the built-in features of iPhone (XS model or later) to keep business and customer data private and secure. When a payment is processed, Apple does not store card numbers or transaction information on Apple's servers.

Using Tap to Pay on iPhone with the Worldline Tap on Mobile app is simple, secure, and private. At checkout, merchants simply prompt customers to hold their preferred contactless payment method near the merchant’s iPhone, and the payment will be securely completed using NFC technology.

Tap to Pay on iPhone can be used both independently and as a complement to an existing payment terminal.
