My name is Declan Dye, and I joined Worldline in 2021 as an Apprentice Resource Manager through their apprenticeship scheme. In 2022, after demonstrating dedication and hard work in resource management, I transitioned to the service management area. I recently completed my apprenticeship, achieving a Distinction level grade, and I am proud to announce my promotion to Junior Service Manager.
My experience at Worldline has been nothing short of extraordinary—so remarkable that it’s challenging to encapsulate it all in words. The support I have received through coaching, mentorship, and encouragement from senior management has been instrumental in my growth and development within the organisation. This supportive environment has enabled me to embrace new initiatives at Worldline, where I serve as a charity advocate and as the deputy ambassador for ADHD and neurodiversity within our Unite pillars.
There’s a wealth of opportunities to engage with at Worldline; it's far more than just an apprenticeship scheme. It’s about development, building connections, and personal growth. From team-building away days to various challenges and events, experiences here transcend those of a typical job.
Reflecting on my journey, I am grateful that I chose this apprenticeship path over a traditional university route. Working at Worldline has transformed my professional experience into a dynamic lifestyle—a journey filled with development, camaraderie, and a sense of belonging.
