From the 12 to the 14th of March, Worldline’s sales people gathered in Rome, Italy, for two intensive days of co-working. This Sales event was the perfect occasion to exchange on tech’s hot topics, to learn new soft skills, discover more about Worldline’s products and solutions and meet one’s far-away colleagues… This event was sponsored by Mastercard, Conduent, Energize Global, Eptica, Hitachi Vantara and RSA Security.
It began with a treasure hunt in Rome’s streets and historical sites such as the Pantheon, the Basilica St Pietro and even the Colosseum.
After this amazing introduction, the next two days were focused on working in diverse teams in an intense Business Game. After plenary sessions lead by Gilles Grapinet, Worldline’s CEO, Marc-Henri Desportes, Deputy CEO, and Pascal Mauzé, Head of Sales and Marketing, the teams had access to learning sessions about soft skills (negotiation, pitching, competitive intelligence…), tech’s hot topics (PSD2, Instant Payments…) and Worldline’s own solutions and products (WL Merchant Wallet, WL One Commerce Hub, VALINA…) through demos. Lisa Coleman, Head of Worldline UK, Michael Steinbach, Head of Financial Services, Vincent Roland, Head of Merchant Services and Olivier Stuckens, Head of Mobility and e-Transactional Services, were also keynote speakers at the event and give tips to the teams as they finalized their Business Game presentations.
Trophies were not only handed out to the winners of the Business Game but also to the sales people who outperformed in 2018.
