Since the Paris Agreement, which became effective in November 2016, Worldline has significantly strengthened its actions in regards to the fight against climate change. As part of its climate strategy, Worldline is committed to implement all the necessary actions, in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to accelerate its transformation to become a low-carbon company.
From October 2nd to 4th, 29 Worldliners gathered in Prague for a short but fast-paced trip focused on innovation. During 3 days, the winners of last year’s WIN Awards, our internal innovation contest, were immersed in a learning expedition that enabled them to explore some of Prague’s innovative ecosystem, while enjoying time visiting Prague’s emblematic landmarks.
For the first year, Worldline has published a global overview of its TRUST 2020 CSR ambition linked to the 2030 agenda of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the 2018 Global Goals Yearbook, one of the world's most influential annual publications for Corporate Sustainability.
Last week, after a very interesting Opening Conference led by Maud Bailly, AccorHotels' CDO, Marc-Henri Desportes, Worldline's Deputy CEO, Pascal Mauzé, Worldline's Head of Sales & Marketing, and Worldline Experts, Fintech startups challenged themselves during 48 hours to deliver solutions for Worldline clients using Worldline assets during the e-Payments Challenge Hackathon.
