Worldline’s Corporate Social Responsibility Report reached the highest level of certification under the Global Reporting Initiative (“GRI”)

Paris, 5 June 2015 – Worldline has published its first 2014 Corporate Social Responsibility Report pursuant to Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines. In 2014 in line with its IPO, Worldline decided to apply for the first time the GRI-G4 Comprehensive Option for reporting purposes, which is the latest and most stringent GRI standard in terms of transparency and scope. This first successful report demonstrates the commitment of Worldline TOP management to deliver complete and transparent non-financial results.

This exercise was launched after a detailed Materiality assessment involving all Worldline stakeholders and is the first step in a policy to monitor and improve our economic, environmental and social impacts actions in line with our stakeholders’ expectations.

It focuses on improving our staff well-being at work, on improving constantly our impacts on the societies in which we operate, and increasing the long-lasting satisfaction of our customers with sustainable and innovative offers.

In 2014, Worldline introduced a number of measures to implement its CSR approach, including strong governance involving Group and local management on CSR issues and a CSR roadmap for the next few years with a tangible action plan.

CSR actions in 2015 will cover the following issues:

  • Diversity;
  • Data protection and privacy / security;
  • How Worldline’s solutions contribute to sustainability ;
  • Compliance and risk management;
  • Environmental commitments (including environmental auditing and establishing CO2 targets).
