Apple Pay is the mobile payment solution from the US company Apple and enables payment with iPhone, iPad and Mac in e-commerce or with iPhone and Apple Watch at the POS. Apple Pay is now used by around 604 million people worldwide.

How your customers benefit

Once stored in the wallet, both your customer’s address and their credit card details are transferred to GoPay in encrypted form during payment. Regardless of the device, your customers benefit from a streamlined check-out – without having to re-enter their card and address details – and can pay with just one tap on their preferred payment method in their Click to Pay, Apple Pay or Google Pay account. Depending on your requirements, the delivery and billing address will then be made available to you as the merchant and linked to the order or payment. This saves your customers from having to enter their details at the check-out and allows them simply to confirm their purchase using a PIN, Touch ID or Face ID.

Payment options for Click to Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay

Payments via Click to Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay are standard card transactions that can be processed easily via the GoPay payment platform. GoPay supports all major national and international debit and credit cards that your customers have set up in their Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet.

Payment via the Click to Pay wallet only works with the following credit and debit cards: Mastercard, Maestro, Debit Mastercard and Visa, V PAY and Visa Debit.

No problem. You can object within 30 days. Simply fill out our objection form and let us know in writing which of the three payment methods you do not wish to activate on your GoPay payment page. Please include your PSP ID with your message.

Even after activating the payment methods, you can disable Click to Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay yourself at any time in the GoPay Merchant Portal.
