Yes. According to Law 4446/2016 (as amended), starting from October 31, 2025, all businesses in Greece will be required to accept instant payments.
Worldline Greece provides you with the ability to accept easy and secure instant payments via the IRIS service, through your POS terminals or online stores — directly from your customers’ bank accounts, without using a card.

When a customer selects IRIS as the payment method, they are redirected to their bank’s secure online environment or mobile app to complete the payment. The transaction is then instantly confirmed, and the funds are credited to your account within seconds.
In case of refunds or partial refunds, you can process them easily through your existing payment management system.
Please note: IRIS supports all standard payment types, including MOTO (Card-not-present) transactions where applicable.

The IRIS service is supported across the main payment channels of your business:

If you’re already using Live-Pay for e-invoicing and mass payments, it’s also compatible with IRIS.

There is no limit to the payment amount you can accept through IRIS on your terminals, as long as your system supports the transaction.

This means that your funds are immediately available in your account, without intermediaries, ensuring transparency and seamless accounting management. -
You can monitor and reconcile all IRIS transactions for your business using the following tools:
- Physical POS terminals: From the menu, go to Transaction Management → Batch Totals / Transaction Log.
- ePOS / Back Office tools: Access your reporting environment to view IRIS transactions and summaries.
- Cardlink apollo: Through the digital platform Cardlink apollo, you can view all IRIS transactions from both your physical and Android POS devices — with clear reporting, filters, and downloadable summaries.

Yes. IRIS transaction statements are available monthly via the same channels where you currently receive your POS settlement statements.
They include all transaction details, settlement information, and any applicable fees or commissions. -
If IRIS is not displayed as a payment option on your terminals, please contact your technical support team.

No. All necessary updates and notifications to the IAPR are handled automatically by Worldline Greece.

Worldline Greece will inform the cash register and ERP providers that already interface with its systems to ensure IRIS compatibility.
