IRIS Payments by Worldline Greece: The new era of instant payments is here

Worldline Greece responds to contemporary market and professional needs by introducing the IRIS service, which enables instant payment acceptance at physical and online stores directly from bank accounts, without a card. The service is fully compatible with Worldline’s existing solutions — POS, Smart POS app, e-Commerce Gateway and Payment Link — delivering an end-to-end payment experience.

With each transaction, the customer’s account is debited instantly, and the result of the transaction is communicated in real time. The service is also compatible with connected ECR/ERP cash register systems, based on AADE protocols. IRIS transactions have no amount limit while are settled as a separate total amount in the corporate account, distinct from card transactions, enabling businesses to have a clear and complete daily overview of their spending.
