Athens — 09 / 02 / 2026 Worldline, a European leader in payment services, participated in the Delphi Economic Forum Paris III, held on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, in France, reaffirming its dynamic role in the European dialogue on the economy, investment and cross-border cooperation.

As part of the Forum, Pierre-Antoine Vacheron, CEO of Worldline, took part as a speaker in the panel “Economic and Business Relations between France and Greece: Opportunities in a New Era”, which focused on the prospects for strengthening bilateral economic relations, key growth sectors, and the role of innovation in a changing geopolitical environment.

In his remarks, Mr. Vacheron highlighted that the current period marks a new phase in Franco-Greek economic and trade relations, where strong historical ties and strategic alignment are being translated into practical partnerships with clear European added value. He also stressed that, at a time of supply chain reconfiguration and an increasing need for technological and digital sovereignty, strengthening intra-European cooperation is a critical factor for competitiveness.

Special reference was made to the strong momentum of the Greek market, where the acceleration of electronic payments, the growth of e-commerce, the digitalization of services, as well as the contribution of tourism and the public sector, are shaping an environment of increased opportunities for secure and scalable digital payment solutions. In this context, the role of Worldline as a technology partner to businesses was highlighted. The company supports over 100,000 merchants with innovations like Worldline Tap to Pay, Smart POS app (Soft POS), and offers comprehensive solutions that enable online sales through e-shops, the acceptance of remote payments even without an online store, as well as the receipt of online payments through modern digital channels, with security and 24/7 availability.

The participation of Mr. Vacheron at the Delphi Economic Forum Paris III highlighted the strategic importance of the Greek market for Worldline and the role of Worldline in Greece (Worldline Greece and Cardlink, a Worldline brand) as an active part of the Group’s European trajectory. The successful joint venture with Eurobank makes Greece a prime example of this momentum and one of our key growth relays.

Following his participation in the Forum, Pierre-Antoine Vacheron, CEO of Worldline, stated:
“We are entering a truly new phase of Franco-Greek economic cooperation, where the depth of our relationship is being transformed into opportunities for co-creation. Greece has accelerated its structural and digital transformation and, within the stability framework of the Eurozone, is emerging as a market with strong momentum in digital services and payments. For Worldline, this means a long-term commitment: to contribute, as a European partner, to the development of secure payment infrastructures that enhance business competitiveness and Europe’s digital sovereignty.”

Ioannis Kitixis, Managing Director of Worldline in Greece, also attended the Forum, reaffirming the close alignment of the Greek operations with the Group’s broader strategic direction. He commented:
“The Delphi Economic Forum Paris III clearly demonstrated that the next phase of Franco-Greek cooperation is built on practical synergies. Worldline in Greece is part of this momentum, supporting businesses with solutions that transform payments from a necessity into a competitive advantage, across both physical and digital environments. The presence of Worldline’s CEO at the Forum confirms the importance of the Greek market and our ambition to continue investing in innovation, trust and new solutions that support sustainable economic and business growth.”

The Delphi Economic Forum Paris III, under the central theme “France & Greece in a Changing World: Geopolitics, Security, Economy, Energy, Culture”, brought together leading figures from politics, the economy, defence, energy and culture, serving as a key reference point for Franco-Greek dialogue at a time of heightened international uncertainty.
