Worldline Greece’s Split Bill named “Product of the Year” 2026

Athens — 16 / 04 / 2026 Worldline, a European leader in payment services, has received yet another significant distinction, this time during the “Product of the Year” awards in Greece, the country’s largest consumer-voted innovation awards institution.

Specifically, the company was awarded for its Split Bill service in the “Electronic Payments” category, highlighting the value and innovation of the solution designed to simplify one of the most common, yet often complex, everyday moments: splitting the bill in dining and hospitality venues.

Worldline in Greece (Worldline Greece and Cardlink, a Worldline brand) introduced the Split Bill functionality to the Greek market in 2025, integrating it into POS terminals and offering a modern, user-friendly answer to the question of “who pays what.”

The service enables the bill-splitting directly at the POS, without the need for calculations or external applications, significantly improving the payment experience. Each customer can easily pay their share using card, digital wallet, or/and cash, while the POS automatically updates the remaining balance and issues a separate receipt for each transaction.

At the same time, it supports faster service and reduces payment errors during checkout, enhancing operational efficiency for businesses while elevating the overall customer experience.
