How Tap to Pay on iPhone works.

Open the Tap on Mobile app, type the amount, ask your customer to tap – it's that simple.

Step 1.

Open the Tap on Mobile app on your iPhone, select Payment and enter the amount.

Step 2.

Present your iPhone to the customer.

Step 3.

Your customer holds their contactless card or device at the top of your iPhone, over the contactless symbol.

Step 4.

When you see the Done tick, the transaction is complete.

Step 5.

Send a digital receipt via email or QR code.

Tap to Pay on iPhone uses the built-in features of iPhone to help keep your business and customer data private and secure. When a payment is processed, Apple doesn’t store card numbers on the device or on Apple servers, so you can rest assured knowing your business stays yours.
