Do regulations kill or kindle innovation?
16 / 03 / 2023
In this episode of our podcast series “Navigating digital payments”, we tackle the questions of whether regulations promote or stifle innovation in payments with our guests Sylvie Calsacy (Head of Public and Regulatory Affairs at Worldline) and Jonathan Sauer (Innovation Manager for Worldline Financial Services in Benelux).
We discuss what it means to be innovative, what stimulates innovation and what some of the key regulatory shifts in payments have been. Then we go on to consider how the regulatory landscape is set to evolve and how this might impact innovation in payments.
Each episode of season 1 of Navigating Digital Payments is based on a chapter from the 2021 report published by the Worldline Discovery Hub which you can download here.
