“Multi-account SIX terminals – Ultra practical!”

Dr Ludovicy, please could you introduce us to your doctor’s surgery as well as the difficulties it encounters when managing card payments?

Our doctor’s surgery includes several health professionals with different specialisations. Currently, payment for consultations is carried out at reception by our medical secretaries. Until now, we had as many terminals as we had doctors as it was impossible to share a single terminal. I will leave you to imagine the space and the logistics required by 8 terminals in a single space.

Please could you give us a brief presentation of your new multi-account payment terminal which SIX is supplying to you?

The new multi-account terminal which SIX offers with the Ingenico terminals allows us to link up several bank accounts on one terminal. In other words, several professionals can share the same terminal and run separate accounting functions. This is completely unique here in Luxembourg! Not only this, but these terminals allow you to enter alphanumerical references which will then show on statements which is particularly practical for accounting purposes.

For you, what are the main advantages of these terminals?

For us, there is no longer a mountain of terminals in our reception area. Now that there is only a single terminal, it looks a lot better. We have also made significant savings, as we have gone from leasing 8 terminals to a single one.
