Worldline and GPX Logistics collaborate to implement an innovative payment solution in the French overseas departments and territories, as well as mainland France. This solution allows the various agencies of the GPX Logistics Group to seamlessly collect customs duties, taxes, and fees for express transport services—all through a simple smartphone.

In the French overseas departments and territories, the agencies of the GPX Logistics Group often collect customs duties, taxes, and fees for express transport services directly upon delivery. GPX sought a simpler, more cost-effective solution than traditional electronic payment terminals (EPTs) to meet this operational need.

Worldline proposed its SoftPoS-based payment application, Worldline Tap on Mobile, which is available on Android and iOS. This innovative solution enables card payments to be securely accepted via a smartphone, eliminating the need for traditional terminals. The Worldline Tap on Mobile MPoC certification ensures end-to-end transaction security.
GPX Logistics Group equipped its drivers with Android smartphones and developed a business application that seamlessly integrates the Tap on Mobile app. During the payment process, the app opens automatically, reassuring customers and providing a seamless payment experience. This solution has been tailored specifically to GPX’s operational needs.
