With Payment Link, you don’t need an e-shop to receive online payments from your customers by card. You only need to accept:
•    Telephone orders.
•    Orders by e-mail or other means, e.g. through social media.

As soon as customers inform you of the purchase they want to make from your business, you can create and send a link with a payment request to complete the transaction.

Controlled duration for each link

Each link sent with a request for payment to your customers to complete their purchases from you:

• Remains active from 1 to 30 days from the instant you create it, depending on the duration you set.
• Expires after 30 minutes if your customer clicks on it and is taken to Worldline's online environment, but does not complete payment in time.

If the link with the request for payment expires, you can create and send a new link to your customers so they can complete their payment to you.

3D secure protocol

To safeguard online card payments, Payment Link fully supports the 3D Secure protocol.

It implements Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) that reduces the risk of fraud in online transactions.

On Worldline's secure online environment

The data from customer cards are transferred to Worldline’s secure online environment and are not stored on your business’ systems. Worldline’s systems are protected by a powerful, state-of-the-art Firewall.

Your customers’ data are also protected by Transport Layer Security (TLS) 256-bit encryption protocol.

Use Payment Link to create and send payment requests to your customers at no cost for the connection to the service.

The provision of the Payment Link platform includes upgrades based on mandates from the international Visa and Mastercard organizations and it is maintained for free.

You pay only the commission for the transaction clearance.

Using a simple procedure, you send a payment request to your customers. You can manage your transactions any way you like.

To create and send your customer a link with a request for payment, follow these 3 simple steps:
1.    Log in to the Worldline ePOS platform. Fill out the particulars for the customer and the transaction.
2.    Create a link with the request for payment you want to send to the customer so payment can be made to your business.
3.    Choose how you want to send the link to your customer – automatically via e-mail through the ePOS platform or by processing and sending it from your business (by e-mail, SMS, social media, etc.).

Your customer receives the link with your request for payment and completes the payment to you online using a card.

Businesses with a large volume of transactions on a regular basis are offered the option of creating an automated mass mailing of Payment Links through the ERP connection to an API through the newly developed functionality. To use the functionality, it must be implemented on the business’ ERP system.

You can manage the request for payment links you send to your customers in the manner you choose. This allows you to:
•    Cancel the link with your request for payment.
•    Send the link to your customer again with the request for payment.
•    Take advantage of other services your business uses for its online sales at the same time.
By sending the link with the request for payment to your customers, you can inform them about the terms that apply to cancelling the transaction.

You will be able to see the funds in your account on the next business day after your customer makes a payment using Payment Link.

With Payment Link, your customers can complete their purchases from you quickly and easily:

1. They place their order with you either by phone, e-mail or another means, e.g. social media. They receive the link with your request for payment.
2. They click on the link with the request for payment. They are automatically taken to Worldline’s secure online environment.
3. They fill in their card details to complete their payment. They receive a new e-mail confirming that payment has been completed.

If you have opted to send the link with the request for payment through the ePOS platform, your customers can review thoroughly the details of the transaction (e.g. amount, business name, order number).

Option of paying in instalments

You can offer your customers the option of paying for their online purchases from your business in instalments.

You can set the number of instalments you offer when you create the link with the request for payment you send them.

Recurring payment

You can use the same link to set recurring payments for your customers, such as for a monthly subscription.
