Smart Transport National Conference

The Smart Transport National Conference brings together the UK’s public and private sector to discuss the transport policies set out by the government and how the private sector can contribute to them.

Senior UK policymakers and Government officials will share insights and knowledge to help the public and private sectors collaborate and turn future transport goals into reality.

Topics addressed include:

  • Decarbonising commuting
  • Making the railways part of an integrated passenger and freight network
  • The Road Investment Strategy’s (RIS3) contribution to decarbonisation
  • Planning reforms and their impact on transport
  • Overcoming public backlash against new transport policies
  • Using data to plan transport policies

The format of the conference includes debates, knowledge transfer and networking.

Join Worldline's Martin Howell as he participates in a panel discussion about the use of data to plan transport policies. In this discussion, the speakers will explore the use of data and technology in all its forms and its crucial role in helping transport planners. The session will explore the many ways in which data can be used, from planning demand-responsive transport, helping local authorities run Future Transport Zones and the planning of public transport to launching new ticketing platforms.

Worldline is participating in this event as a headline strategic partner.
