WIN Learning Expedition, a journey to get inspired
A WIN Learning Expedition combines innovation with the discovery of a major European city. Through this immersive trip, several of Worldline’s most talented innovators are invited to discover some of the best innovative aspects and resources of a city and to make contacts, start discussions, imagine new ideas and identify new opportunities.
During three intensive days, the winners of the 2018 WIN Awards had the chance to meet various local players, visit innovative public and private organizations, leaders in their sectors and to take a deep dive into an inspiring and energizing ecosystem.

In Prague, our winning Worldliners had the opportunity to meet with Adastra, which shared its experience with mobile solutions in Asian markets; to discover GoodAI’s research activities towards General Artificial Intelligence; to visit Vodafone Czech Republic, which presented its latest digital products and services for the mainstream market; to learn with ELI Beamlines about the world’s most intense laser systems and their applications in physics, material science, biomedical research and astrophysics; to understand UP21’s approach in helping startups navigate towards success; to get insights into Avast’s innovative mindset and operational challenges; to get a grasp on the broad range of expertise of the Czech Technical University in Prague, from Artificial Intelligence, with the AI Center, to conversational agents and industrial robotics, with the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics, an amazing place of interdisciplinary cooperation.
During this trip, the visits were opportunities to exchange about our points of view on tech subjects, to help me in my work and my projects.

The WIN Awards are opened to everyone in Worldline. Employees can team up to post a project. Each innovation counts. It is why there is no restriction in terms of the kind of innovation you can submit. The WIN Awards are opened to all projects significantly advanced or completed in the previous year. Since its creation, the WIN Awards have gathered 4,000+ participants from 20+ countries and awarded 150+ innovators.
The discussions with the other participants were an opportunity to discover new personalities and get to know my colleagues better.
