What´s a typical day in the life of a customer care specialist at Worldline?
In the customer care team, our number one priority day to day is assisting merchants who call us. We work hard to make sure that our merchant clients aren’t waiting long to speak to someone. We are encouraged and given time to learn new things that will allow us to better support our merchants too. And the culture in our office is great – we have weekly foosball tournaments and play during lunch hours!
What do you think is the next big thing when it comes to customer care?
As the first contact for most of our merchants and partners, we strive to represent the company, as well as our values, at every opportunity. Our focus is to provide an excellent experience to all the merchants who contact us, and that will always be the big thing in customer care. Continuing to expand our support experience through NPS and merchant-driven initiatives will help us succeed moving forward.
What´s the best thing about working at Worldline?
For me working at Worldline means being part of an amazing human community! It really appeals to me that within my team and organization we can share knowledge and success, while working together on things that can be improved. I also love the diversity at Worldline, it is such a pleasure to meet people from all around the world.
How has Worldline helped you develop and grow professionally?
Before I joined Worldline I had always worked in a customer care capacity, but in different industries. The payment industry is something new for me and Worldline’s tools and teams are helping me grow and learn every single day. There is a lot to learn, but online payments and e-commerce are the future.
What are the culture and people like at Worldline?
I have to say this is the best team I ever had the pleasure of working alongside! We need to help our merchant clients address a lot of different challenges and I love that people share knowledge and are always available to help each other.
What is your passion in life, and how do you pursue it?
I am passionate about photography. This is also one of the reasons why I wanted to move to Canada from France - the nature over here is so beautiful. I really enjoy taking landscape and wildlife pictures on Vancouver Island!
Worldline has offices in more than 50 countries and actively promotes global mobility. If you were to relocate anywhere, where would you go and why?
I moved from France two years ago and I have to say Vancouver Island is my paradise island. I have so much to explore over here that I think I would love to stay here for years!
