Worldline receives the EcoVadis Gold level for the fourth consecutive year with a score of 83/100

Worldline [Euronext: WLN], the European market leader in payment and transaction services, is proud to achieve "Gold" level recognition by the independent non-financial rating agency EcoVadis for the fourth year in a row.
With a 2-point improvement on it impressive score the previous year, Worldline has recorded an overall score of 83/100 in recognition of its progress in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance and its long-term commitment to sustainable development.
This CSR rating confirms Worldline’s position in the top 1% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the Data processing, hosting and related activities industry and in the following themes assessed by EcoVadis: labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
Worldline has performed particularly well on its sustainable procurement approach and actions in 2018. In fact, the company gained 10 points in this area and confirms its work with its most strategic suppliers in order to ensure and positively influence the sustainable practices across its entire value chain. In order to meet this objective, Worldline has implemented a sustainable global procurement strategy supported by a sustainable supplier charter, its code of ethics, and the EcoVadis assessment of its main suppliers followed by annual interviews.
In addition, Worldline has reinforced its environmental theme score of 80/100 and continues its trajectory towards a low-carbon company in order to help fight against climate change by reducing, limiting and neutralizing carbon emissions linked to its activities. Today, all emissions from Worldline data centers, offices, business travel and payment terminals have been offset. Also, Worldline conducted an analysis of its climate risks and opportunities with the objective to better measure its climate impact.
In relation to labour and human rights, Worldline confirms its score of 80/100 thanks to its strong policies and measurable progress objectives on all topics related to inclusion, working conditions and skills development and career management for its employees.
Regarding Ethics, Worldline once again received an impressive score of 90/100 confirming its ability to promote and influence responsible behaviours and practices throughout its value chain, including its partners and subcontractors.
In order to further improve its score Worldline will continue to work to improve the coverage of operational facilities certified with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. In addition, the company will continue its efforts to deploy concrete actions throughout its operations to support its sustainable procurement engagements and policies.
