Sibos 2022, the world’s premier financial services conference and exhibition, is back to connect thousands of decision-makers, thought leaders and executives from across the payments industry. This year's event will return to an in-person conference at the RAI in Amsterdam from 10 to 13 of October. Worldline will also be present at Booth F77, eagerly welcoming all the attending delegates.

As a leading global payment services provider, it is crucial for Worldline to keep up and stay ahead with trends and technology to ensure that we remain competitive in the marketplace and to certify that we develop innovative solutions that benefit our clients and their customers. Events like Sibos contribute to staying attuned to developments in the industry.

The agenda centres around the digital landscape, succeeding in uncertain times and driving sustainability and ethics. Industry leaders and topic experts from across the financial community will discuss these impactful trends in technology, regulation and risk. I am excited to see what Sibos 2022 will have in store, and I am thrilled to see what leaders from the industry will bring to the discussion.

Focused on the future and innovation, a wide range of topics will be covered throughout the four-day event, from the metaverse, digital and cross-border payments and currencies to sustainability, CSR and innovation. Further discussion of these exciting trends will occur during numerous speeches, panel sessions and interviews.

I am looking forward to represent Worldline at one of Sibos’ panel sessions: ‘Growth in Global Payments: And the winners are…’. Joined by five other speakers, in this session, we’ll check the payment industry’s pulse and debate who is poised to capture the growth of retail payment: banks, fintech, central banks, market infrastructures, or even someone completely new. I invite you to attend this panel discussion, which will take place on the last day of the event, 13 October, from 14:00 – 14:45 CET.

Please also mark your agenda to attend the exhibitor theater presentation about changes in the financial sector driven by the Metaverse on Thursday, 13 October at 12:00. Veronica Alava, Business Development Manager Worldline, will provide a look into the Metaverse and share its impacts on our industry.

With the ambition of becoming and agile paytech that helps their customers realise their ambitions, Worldline will announce its first part of the Brand Ambition Platform at Sibos 2022. At our booth, you’ll diverse content ranging from Account Payments (Backoffice processing, CSM, Instant Payments), innovative capabilities surrounding Digital Services, CSR and Micro-Website.

Our colleagues on side will attend numerous sessions. Based on their participation, a series of blog posts will be published on our blog platform, sharing the most relevant insights from the event’s sessions. By publishing them shortly after the sessions, we will be able to report (almost) in real-time, giving finance enthusiasts the chance to follow Sibos 2022, even from a distance, without having to be physically present at the event.

From my side, I am looking forward to meeting many of you at the upcoming event. You can find us at Booth F77. Enjoy a cup of coffee at our coffee bar, feel welcome to watch various demos on charitable donations and metaverse payments, among others, and reconnect with other guests.
