What´s a typical day in the life in Software engineer at Worldline?

Working together as a team, our goal is to effortlessly integrate our services with the merchant platform. We develop, research and fix bugs to ensure the best customer experience at all times.

How does the work you do as Software engineer impact the world around us?

In today’s interconnected and digital world, software is all around us. The small part I play in the huge machine of the software industry is the greatest thing that has happened in my life. The joy of seeing people use something I have created is the reason I do what I do.

What do you think is the next big thing when it comes to Software development?

The emerging AI models that are coming out as we speak, like ChatGPT, impress me the most. These developments in technology will revolutionise the world we live in, and it’s fascinating to see and philosophise how these models will integrate into our daily lives.

What´s the best thing about working at Worldline?

The work-life balance at Worldline is a really good thing and working in small teams reduces the overhead in huge project like e-Commerce payments.

How has Worldline helped you develop and grow professionally?

At Worldline, employees are provided with a goal every semester to enhance their skills and are given the freedom to choose what they want to do.

What is the culture and the people like at Worldline?

Great culture and great people to work with. I really enjoy the diversity in the company and working with people from all around the world.

What is your passion in life, and how do you pursue it?

For me, my passion in life is software. As I mentioned earlier, software is all around us. Having an idea and the opportunity to bring it to life myself is the most awesome feeling you can imagine.

What would be your perfect weekend?

My perfect weekend involves spending time with my wife, Eline, and our dog, Sky, taking walks in the woods and spending quality time whenever possible. This, together with expanding the world with new software ideas, with the support of my wife, is my perfect weekend.
